The Career Services Office offers a variety of services to both faculty and students. We offer assistance with resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, job search, interest inventories, internships, and graduate school preparation. We also have a career library that is available to both faculty and students. What this means for you as a faculty member is that you can better inform students of where to turn for help, and even bring us into the classroom to augment a lesson.

PICKING A MAJOR
If your student needs to pick a major, encourage them to make and appointment with Career Services. We can assist them with interest inventories including My Plan, Skill Scan, and Self Directed Search. Please refer students to this picking a major link.
If your student needs skill assistance (resume, cover letter, portfolio, interview), encourage them to make an appointment with Career Services to work on these items. In addition, some of these online resources regarding skill development may be helpful.
If your students are in need of an internship this link may be helpful.
In addition, our goal is for EVERY student to complete an internship regardless of whether one is required or not. Students can also apply to participate in the PAWS internship program.
