To support, facilitate and develop students as scholar, person and citizen. Student Affairs focuses its attention on students; their needs, concerns and development outside the formal classroom experience. Student Affairs attempts to provide opportunities and experiences for students to expand their personal horizons as well as help them to learn, grow and develop as a person who can contribute to a future role in the workplace and in a society as a whole.
Adult students may start in a certificate program, in a degree program, or as a student taking one class at a time. Courses are offered during the day, evening, and on-line. Penn State DuBois offers all of these opportunities for students.
Penn State DuBois provides athletic opportunities in both varsity sports and intramural sports. In addition, we provide a fitness center free of charge for students.

We at Penn State DuBois strive to create and maintain an open, safe and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students. We have an array of resources and support services to assist students and encourage students to use these resources whenever necessary.
This office provides an array of out of class opportunities including diversity programs, leadership development, community service, club and organization support and other learning environments.

The Office of Adult Student and Veteran Services at Penn State DuBois, located in Room 206, DEF Building is available to connect veteran students with campus resources, veteran service providers and other agencies within the community.
