Building Faculty Strength and Capacity
To assure that talented individuals want to join and remain at Penn State DuBois, they must be provided with flexibility and financial assistance to pursue research interests, and participate in outreach initiatives. In turn, the students will directly benefit from these efforts by learning from faculty members who are continually developing their talents and knowledge.
Fostering Discovery and Creativity
A major concern in north central Pennsylvania is “Brain Drain”, that is, our young people are leaving the area because they are unable to find employment after graduation from college.
Sustaining a Tradition of Quality
Many aspects of the University are critical to the student experience yet are seldom noticed. Maintaining a clean and attractive learning environment; providing receptions after major events such as graduation, the honors convocation, the etiquette luncheon or an adult learner tea are all such examples.
