Information Sciences and Technology

The IST program is designed to create leaders for the new digital age.  The IST curriculum was built from the ground up to give students the following skills:
• Learn and manage the ever changing new technologies in the information technology field
• Bridge the communication gap between business professionals and information technology professionals
• Focus on the application of technology as a solution
• Working on industry problems in a team atmosphere
• Polish oral and writing communication skills

Penn State DuBois offers an IST Associate Degree specializing in Networking or Business.  The Networking Option focuses on network administration and computer networking.  The Business Option enables students to increase their knowledge of information systems while furthering their studies in business areas of management, accounting, and marketing.

In addition, Penn State DuBois offers a Baccalaureate Option that fulfills the lower degree requirements of the Bachelor's Degree.
